Mega projects mean industrial units with capital investment of Rs 200 crore or more, which act as anchor units in their respective areas, provide employment on a large scale and promote industrial units in their area on a large scale.
Under the said scheme, Letters of Comfort have been issued to 16 projects in which the total proposed/actual investment is approximately Rs 13,983.12 crore.
Under the said scheme, 09 projects have been implemented so far, through which capital investment of approximately Rs 6,121.71 crore has been made.
Under the said scheme, approximately Rs 2,290 crore has been disbursed/approved to 08 eligible units.

MEGA PROJECTS UNDER INFRASTRUCTURE AND INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT POLICY 2012 PICUP has been nominated as Nodal Agency vide GO. No. 910/77-6-14-05(M)/2013 dated 04-July 2014 for promotion of establishment of Mega Projects in Uttar Pradesh.

Under the said scheme, so far LOC has been issued/approved for 36 large category projects in which the investment is approximately Rs 2,001.60 crore and 7,076 jobs will be created.
Under the said scheme, till now Letters of Comfort have been issued to 40 Mega/Mega Plus/Super Mega projects in which a total investment of approximately Rs 17,113.79 crore is proposed and 19,750 jobs will be created.
Under the Mega Scheme, 04 eligible units has been disbursed/approved approximately Rs 304 crore.

A total capital investment of approximately Rs 2,512.51 crore is proposed and 2,612 jobs will be created.
Under this policy, 02 eligible units has been disbursed/approved approximately Rs 22.24 crore.
